Player Incentive for the 2010 U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships
Players,
My goal for this year is to fill up the field to its maximum of 256 players. As you all know, for the first time in U.S. Open history, both women and men will be competing for the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship title.
As an added bonus, and to encourage increased participation during these tough economical times, I will be discounting the $500 entry fee to $400 during the month of April only. Therefore, if you would like the opportunity to compete in this year’s historic event please visit www.BilliardHQ.com beginning Monday April 12, 2010-Friday, April 30, 2010 in order to pay your entry fee.
After April 30th the entry fee will return to $500, so be sure to take advantage of this great discount. Let’s fill up the field like we did in the past!

- Race to 11
- Double Elimination
- Finals 1 race to 13
- Break Box
- 3 Balls past Head String
- No soft Breaks
- Velocity is key to determining a proper break. Players must break the balls with proper speed and it will not be a foul if three balls do not pass the headstring. Players must make an honest attempt to break the balls. A foul will not be called if a player breaks with velocity.

Dress Code:
Nice Slacks, Sweater or nice shirt, no T-Shirts, No tennis shoes, Nice comfortable soft shoes permitted. Look your best head to toe.
Ear plugs are acceptable, no headphones, walkmen, I-pods... (ie. nothing sitcking out of your ears)
